BMW is proud to release a new fully synthetic lubricant formulated for maximum performance in K1300/1200 series BMW motorcycles. These lubricants provide optimal performance over a wide range of temperatures - ideal for high performance air-cooled and oil-cooled engines.
BMW Super Synthetic Engine Oil (SSEO) has been proven in the lab, over the road, and on the race course to provide maximum wear protection over all thermal regimes. Formulated with a unique combination of scientifically engineered poly olefin and ester based fluids to provide maximum stability. Unlike conventional multi-grade oils, SSEO contains no viscosity index improves which can physically deteriorate, causing a loss in viscosity, thermal breakdown and engine deposit. Though SSEO is compatible with mineral oils, which reduces concern when changing from synthetic oil from mineral-based oil, it meets the API SH/CD classification in a fully synthetic formulation. A dual friction modifier system helps reduce fuel consumption and enhance power output as well. The 15W50 weight range provides an optimum operating temperature range, making it an all season lubricant for most riders.
