Most BMW Motorcycles from MY2005-on are equipped with a lightweight rear drive unit that features a hollow rear axle. BMW offers a universal paddock stand to quickly and securely raise all K2x, K4x and K7x models that share this feature.

The stand is constructed of rugged square tube stainless steel and designed without casters.

The Universal Paddock Stand is suitable for the following models:
K2x: R1200GS, R1200GS Adventure, HP2 Enduro, R1200S, R1200RT, R1200ST, R1200R
K4x: K1200S, K1200R, K1200R Sport, K1200GT2, K1300S, K1300R, K1300GT
K7x: F800S, F800ST

To operate, the tube of the paddock stand is inserted through the hollow rear axle of the motorcycle; the rear wheel may then be raised via the lever. An adapter is used to match the diameter of the paddock tube to that of the motorcycle's rear axle.

Note: The stand is designed to be used on an unloaded bike without rider and passenger aboard.
