BMW S1000RR Rear Track Stand

Product Description

BMW Motorrad offers 2 auxiliary stands (front, rear) for the S1000RR; these stands are easy to use and enable the motorcycle to be held securely upright with the front wheel and/or the rear wheel clear of the ground:
Motorcycle held safely and steadily in all directions.
Ideal for use of pre-race tire-warmer blankets.
Essential for many repair jobs and maintenance tasks.
Very little force has to be exerted to lift the motorcycle on to the stand; suitable for use by one person without the assistance of a helper.
The front auxiliary stand can be used only in combination with the rear auxiliary stand.
For safety reasons it is not permissible to lift the front wheel on the front-wheel stand unless the rear wheel has already been lifted on the rear-wheel stand and is secure.
Material: Aluminum, satin and with titanium-colored anodized finish: Side elements: Aluminum, milled; rear: tubular aluminum bow-shaped handle.

The anodizing process forms a protective coating that effectively resists corrosion.
All screws are special steel.
Weight: Front approx. 7.2 lbs., rear approx. 7.7 lbs.
Stand with blue, semi-transparent low-friction rollers (double ball bearings, fully encapsulated, maintenance-free, packed with longlife grease, 2 rollers on each side).
Logo: BMW Motorrad logotype on the side elements.
The major difference between the two auxiliary stands (front, rear) is the width of the tubular aluminum bow-shaped handle (front is approx. 3.9” narrower). The milled side elements are identical.
Sport auxiliary stand (front or rear) includes assembly instructions and instructions for use.

Note the swingarm adapters have to be ordered extra for the rear auxiliary stand (no adapters needed for the front stand): There is a choice of 3 colors: silver, red, and titanium. Each adapter set consists of 2 sleeves with 2 screws. The adapters have to be secured to the rear swingarm of the motorcycle (and can remain on the motorcycle when it is being ridden).
