BMW Motorrad offers functional underwear in 3 different versions for different temperature ranges and different kinds of use; all three versions are color-matched so as to be combinable.
• Sizes: S – XXL.
• Material:
- Extremely lightweight functional fiber Be Cool™ in different compositions for the different seasons (see below).
- Be Cool™ is an intelligent polyamide fiber with an Air-Control system that has a heat-retaining function for the thermal underwear, whereas the fiber in the weave used for the summer underwear enables air to circulate and balances heat/cools the skin. Other properties: Antibacterial carries moisture away from the skin, highly breathable, highly elastic, quick drying, easy to look after (no ironing).
• Wear comfort:
- Snug fit, perfect for motorcycling posture:
− "Seamless": Virtually no seams; the garments' only seams are flat-stitched for comfort.
− Close-fitting neck.
• Logo:
- BMW Motorrad logotype woven into fabric (back of undershirt and pants waistband at front).
• All 2-piece garments, undershirt and underpants can be ordered separately.
Thermal functional wear:
• Long-sleeved thermal undershirt, long thermal underpants.
• Color: Dark blue/dark grey.
• Material:
- Be Cool™ functional fiber, 45 % polyamide, 50 % polypropylene, 5 % elastan.
• Wear comfort:
- Square-meter weight is approximately 35 % higher than that of the textile used for the short and long underwear, parts where cooling can be extreme are woven thicker for better insulating effect.
- NEW: Sleeves of the thermal undershirt are longer and have thumb-loops.
- Warming second skin, ideal for cool temperatures, e.g. late autumn and early spring, and in winter.
