Most BMW F800GS/F650GS2 riders will want more wind protection, because the original windscreen is extremely sporty in design. We provide it with the high screen!
The Touratech windscreen is much bigger, and has a different aerodynamic shape. The resulting improved wind protection reduces the (wind) pressure on the rider, which results in much more relaxed riding. Turbulence around the helmet is minimized and protection against the weather improved.
The windscreen is simply fitted in place of the regular one. It is attached at the same points. Larger hand guards such as Barkbusters will contact this shield at full lock.
