I purchased this tank bag and have used it for about 500+ miles on my K1300s. Quality is top notch!!! Stitching is perfect, zippers are high quality....everything is extremely well made.

The installation requires you to drill holes into a plastic blank at the bottom of the bag (which is very easy). It is worth the effort to have a bag mechanism that releases this easily.

The only downside with this bag is probably not the bag's fault. I am 5'7" and find that the bag forces me into a very upright position on the bike. For long straights, this is fine, on curves, however, it can mean the sport bike feels more like a touring bike (because you can't lean over the tank). If you were taller (which almost 90% of you are), this probably wouldn't be an issue. Again not the bags fault...probably related to my height.

For an extremely long trip, I would definitely use this bag as it holds a decent amount of stuff.

The see-through cell phone window holds my iphone.

If you are looking for a medium sized tank bag, this one is definitely worth a buy. Plus, once you get the quick-lock release installed, you can mix-match other high quality bags-connection tank bags (I'll probably buy a smaller day pack to go with this one).
